We are proud to feature our Theater Troupe, with opportunities for students from 1st through 12th grade to participate in a full-scale stage production each year. Step into the rhythm with our vibrant dance program! Stage Door Arts Academy offers recreational and competitive dance classes for children of all ages, from beginners to advanced dancers. Our class offerings include ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, and contemporary, all taught in a positive and encouraging environment. Our program focuses on building strong technique, self-expression, and a lifelong love of movement—whether your dancer wants to perform, compete, or simply have fun.
Jen’s passion for theater shines in her everyday work. She beautifully fosters the individual talents of students and builds their confidence to shine both on and off stage.
Jen is one of a kind. We have had the honor of working with her for the last two years on a mentor/mentee level through her amazing Carolina Park productions. She’s a professional, creative, top notch in all things theater, and has a way of cultivating confidence in all her students. We hope to continue working with Jen in the years to come.
Our daughter attended her first pop-up camp here earlier in the week and absolutely LOVED IT! From the crafts to the dancing to the singing, her time there was full of activity and engagement. We’ve already signed up for our next pop-up and multiple camps over the summer!
Stage Door has been an awesome experience for our middle-school aged daughter! She is doing the Art of Performance Class and has so much fun each week! We love that her confidence is growing and she is not only learning skills but having an overall positive experience. The staff is awesome and we could not be happier!

We have an 11 year old daughter participating in Jr. Troupe and a 7.5 year old son participating in mini troupe. Not only do both kids love the class and adore the students and teachers, but they have both grown so much in their confidence and stage performance. Staff at stage door make our kids feel seen, supported and appreciated! What more could you ask for?!
What a gem we found here in the Carolina Park community! Beautifully and thoughtfully designed, a huge variety of classes to take at affordable prices, kind and engaging teachers, and the owners really take the time to get to know their students and families. They let us drop into multiple classes to decide what was the best fit for my 5-year-old and never felt pressured. It doesn’t just feel like walking into a dance studio — it’s like a second home. If everyone doesn’t already know you (this is Carolina Park) they want to GET to know you.
